    Black Duck Valley round up.

WoW, talk about an eye opener.

The park itself is dry and dusty, as one would imagine at this time of year. Camp facilities were good.

Those pesky bike riders were as thick as flies. They are the Fisherman's equivalent of Jet Skiers > >

StinkyBrad had mates in the comp from the Logan 4 x 4 club. These people ( freaks ) participated in all sorts of events throughout the 2 days. A lot of recovery work, winching, snatching, pushing , and just damn EXTREME driving.

Was fortunate enough to be standing within 10 feet of a Suzi that almost climbed a hill that was not far off vertical, only to see him flip it backwards and roll 3 1/2 times down to the valley and into his team mates Cruiser. All hands on deck, in 60 seconds he had winched himself onto his wheels, and the others were getting him up the hill with winches and snatch straps etc.

Impressive vehicles of the weekend were, Nissan Patrol w/ 350 chev and the old Short wheel base Cruiser with full coil suspension and the Mutha of all winches, I think it was about 4,000,000 lb.

Have posted pics below. Good weekend all round.

strange.....I was the only Nissan Navara there. And Yes, I DID take her around some tracks and even managed to get a scratch on the front bumper. I was also the only 4 x 4 without a bullbar, only one without spotlights, was the lowest ground clearence and was only 1 of 2 that had a alloy tray.

Ahhhhhhhhhh the beesr tasted good anyway.

Phil Navara's are a very nice truck and a great work vehicle.
But if you mix with boys like that, they will wonder about you and ask questions about you behind your back.
Get a bit of a lift and the 285 MTR's to bolt on for those week ends (they will need to hang out from the gaurds)and you will fit right in. Oh and a big pipe poking out the side.
Looked like a fun time, but the bike's are a worry.
    Cheers Kev. 8)
