has anyone used a hiclone in their 4wd and found it to be good for fuel economy? i fitted one and i found it didn't make any difference at all !

Fitted a hiclone to my 2000 V6 Rodeo. Get almost 20% better on the highway, no real improvement around town. Try it and if you are not happy return it before your 30 days are up. When I fitted mine I pulled the ECU fuse overnight to let the fuel management computer reset so it would relearn the new data. It can't hurt trying.

If you believe in fairies and flying saucers then you will get extra MPG with a Hiclone

Otherwise buy a couple of slabs and enjoy yourself

Surely the modern fuel injection disperses fuel efficiently

So am I right to think, that my 84 Cruiser with a 4.2 L 2F motor (carburetted.) may benefit from the installation of a Hiclone. It just seems from all reports that the Hiclones dont have any gain with injected motors, however carburetted motors should see some improvement in fuel efficiency. I am a little confused because the people who say no good dont say what they installed the Hiclone into. Then Reel killler comes along with a fuel injected motor and says basically he had some improvement. Not trying to pee anyone off just want to find out the right info.

Tried it on standard 1997 deisel 4.2 Toyota
The salesman said it would work
His boss said it would not
It did not work
The boss said "told you so"

The cars in trials were sixties models
The engines were probably designed in the Fifties,or earlier.

Ask yourself" why are the tests not done on a current production vechicle"

Or check your State motoring organisation.

Then enjoy the beer
