    Advice on making roller drawers

Have this hair brained scheme that I might make some drawers and a fridge slide for the back of my twin cab. Where do I get the runners? Are proprietary systems nearly $2k for a good reason? Surely some amongst us has gone down this path? Please enlighten me with your stories before I stumble in blindly......

don't use draw sliders, just use little sealed bearings held in place with set bolts. They are more compact and stronger. Where are you?
I picked one up at a little auction in Warwick and was amased at how easy they would be to make.

    Tks Finger,
I am in Brissy on the southside so I could get bearings anywhere... what a brilliant idea. Thanks again.

hey GBC, I am on the southside also. Send me a PM with your phone number and I'll call reguarding the draw. If you aren't in a serious hurry I can get Dad's draw (I gave it to him and no pun intended there) so you can copy it. Simple as
    All the best.
