I am planning a trip to the fraser island fishing comp next year. I will be towing my 5.5m plate boat behind my 80 series crusier and I am wondering what to expect up there. I have been there before in a sierra 7 years ago but i am nervous about towing a boat on and off the barge and up the island. Can anyone give me some advise regarding this? What are the beach launches like there? How do the tides effect the launches and whats the fishing like? Thanks
There was a really good thread on this not all that long ago. Sorry, I don't have time to look for it at the moment, but have a search through the archives (it might not even be in this section, maybe "boating").

As stated there is a good thread about this but i carnt fing it. Myself and a couple of others put a bit of detail together about going there and where to fish.
Have a look inthe different sections back about one to two months and you will find it.
