G,day all,
long time no speak been flat out lately as well as camping. Got a question or two about changing out the injectors in my cruiser 1hz motor
are they screw in and out
do i need to get my pump adjusted after
can i adjust the pump my self
how do i do the pump timing
how do i know if my pump is also on the blink
what tools do i need to adjust the pump/timing
spare mr the patrol crap.......everyonr knows they suck
They are screw in,think a 7/8" or 1 1/8" tube socket.
no,the pump doesnt need adjusting afterwards
Yes you can but I wouldnt without knowing how as you can lean it out too much and they arent cheap to rebuild(engine or pump)
If it is on the blink, seen some nissans go at 200k,no power/excess smoke/excess fuel, check everything else first,brakes/fuel/air/fuel filters/air intake system.this is cheap compared to getting a pump done.
in reality you need a special adapter and dial gauge but it can be done without them,it is a finicky job without the right tools
