    Any subaru drivers?

    Hey all,
just had the lift kit fitted to my 83 subaru wagon, I see a fair bit of talk about tyres, but mostly in reference to larger 4x4s, can anyone suggest some tyres for my little beast? Got some 14" wheels too (thanks Brian )

It's sitting on a hill, so when flat it sits up a bit higher in the front.

    Re: Any subaru drivers?

Looks good. I had a 1980 Suby Brumby as my first car. It was a great little beast. It had been lifted to look similar to yours in the photo above. There were a few surprised people around when they realised where it could go. We even used to tow a surfboard rider behind it through shallow floodwaters in Northern NSW.

Now, approx 10 years on, I have just bought another Suby (yesterday). It is a 2001 Outback, only 40,000km on it. It is a great car.

Enjoy your Suby - they are great little cars.

    I had a '91 SR5 Dual Cab Hi-Lux 4wd with a rear LSD years ago.
When I parked on the soft stuff above the tide line I had to use low range to get out.
It would just axle tramp if I tried to drive out in high range.
Low range it would just drive out.

That was with no weight in the tray and with factory Desert Duellers with 28lbs in them.
