100 ser cruizer sub floor
a few days ago i went down to the local 4x4 dealer and enquired about the price for alockable sub floor for the back of the cruizer and fell over when i was told $ 1800 clams for a run of the mill one. When i picked myself up off the floor, i marched over to the local hardware shop to build myself one, and share this small build with you guys, incase you were thinking of doing the same.Below is a photo of the frame of the structure welded togeather buy myself with a small mig( or you can use stick) out of 25mm x 25mm gal square tubing which cost me $60 bucks....

next i slid this subframe into the back and worked out the measurements for a smug fit with the top board which is yellow tongue flooring which is slightly water resistant and cost me 30 bucks...

mate,,, you beat me to it,,,like yourself i'm building one for the back of the dual cab,,,,after having the luxury of the old cab chassis with the tool box on the back,,,i found it took up to much room in the tray of the new truck,,,
as a handy hint for anyone contemplating on doing this,,,shop around for your box steel,,,i was quoted from $11,length of 6.1 mtrs 19 x 19,,,up to $45 length of 8 mtrs for he same,,,PLUS $1 per cut to length
runners for drawers are simple enough,,,once your pics return i'll have a look at your frame,,,i'll post mine as soon as
choppa
