    265/ "75" /16 Tyres for Navara STR 3.oTD

    Has anyone fitted different size tyres to their Navara STR 3.0TD. Mine has original 265/ "70" /16 and i am looking to go 265/ "75" /16 BFG A/T's. Woundering how it may effect the fuel economy, gearing for power on hills, or any other issues.

    most tyre manufactures have different rolling diameter variants
    eg a bridgestone 265/70/16 and a toyo 265/75/16 maybe different heights. you must be mindfull of this when deciding what tyre to buy.
    so my sugestion whould be to ask the bridgestone dealer what the rolling diameter of the original tyre is and do the same with the BFG.
    in QLD you cant go any higher that 15mm from the original rolling diamater.
    as the gearing and fuel economy goes i cant see a big difference in the two
