    Towing capacity

    Anyone knows how the towing capacity is calculated. I just don't understand why a Kluger can only tow up to 1500kg but a X-Trail can tow up to 2000kg.

    By the way, I am going to spend about 20k for a 2nd 4WD (as a family car and also for towing boat) and would like some comments about Suzuki XL-7 and Prado.

    I would have a look at the prado , for towing & there 8 seater's . Not to mention TOYOTA
