80 series spare tyre carrier

Just converted to LPG. Don't want to spend $1500+ on a toyota tyre carrier (second handies are like hen teeth and I don't think they would suit my purpose).I use a trailer for business and need access to the crusier's rear drop down door often So I was hoping on some design suggestions or modification. I have bee thinking of a hingable j mount type carrier mounted on the 4 bolts above the tow ball. Probably mount the rego, spot light and a high lift jack on the same mount. If anyone has dealt with the issue before please send a photo of your solution, particularly the hinging device.
