    hi guys...
    fantastic day out...did jigging on dumb tackle...penn 4500 on 50lbs braid and a lil ugly stick...well lost many jigs and biggies... but at least i still managed to land a few. expensive game..and really put my tackle to the test...time for the saltiga reels...

    jeez - I'm impressed with the drag on the penn then. would have had a bloody hard workout. I've got a similar ugly stik - hard to break, but rod was probably bent in two - bendy buggers. well done. more of a challenge on lighter tackle anyway. You wouldn't have felt as good if you'd caught that on a Penn International 30 or similar with heavy rod.

    oh well... was fishing off the gold coast..30 mins...it took me.. almost saw metal in my spool...
    the problem is with this lighter tackle, i couldnt get enuff leverage... cos any more the rod will breake i guess...it was good fun... will need to stock up on jigs before i attack them again....

    geez mate that last shot looked like it woulda hurt, and those jigs certainly add up at 30 bucks a pop when you start losing them, well done.
