Quick solo run out off Bribie yesterday , surface action was almost dead ...a fwe schools of jelly bean tuna , and the odd small school of spotties which were extremelly flighty
conditions were brilliant in the morn , but winds picked up after lunch and got a bit bumpy
Plugged around the beacons with livies and drifting pillies.....nailed a few mackeral to 75 cm .
The rat kings were around and plenty of bait , but nothing really seemed that interested in nailing the baits .
Threw everything imaginable at the kings , they just shadowed everything without a strike .
Ended up with a few nice mack fillets for the oven last night for my troubles though ....yum yum
