    moololaba

    fished yesterday off moololaba
    day was as predicted for a change rite on the report 10 knots and perfect conditions to be on the water
    first drift at 4.30am south of the banks bagged out with the other guys on 4 snapper each as well
    2nd drift on same spot more of the same and throwing back good size fish with 15 on board allready so i started calling for pearlies and boated 2 , its now only 6.00 am and time to move and find new ground and hopfly some different species.
    stayed out untill 11.00am for 2 x redthrout , 1 pearlie ,1 x 5.8 kg parrot (best ive ever seen) 2 x yellow tail king fish best at 15 - 20 kg and more snapper.
    home by lunch and esky full ( bill meads fish not in photos dropped him off on the way home digital camera not on boat dont trust myself will drop it over board)

    Sounds like a top day wayne, Thats one of the biggest Parrot I've seen come from the banks.

    Fantastic Parrot,

    By far the biggest I've ever seen.

    The rest of the catch is pretty good as well.

    no plastic with the main bait being fresh squid but even an old binoto was doing the trick
    the current was fine no problems at all
    yeh still cant belive the parrot when it came to the side off the boat i was shocked especial with the fight it put up it went real hard
