went outside off ballina on sat mornin got a pearly,couple lil squire,a speckle finned cod (i think) and lots of lil fish and than headed back to the river and my mate got a 3.5 kilo jew than i got a mangrove jack 430mm and than i got my first lil jew bit over 3 kilo so we had a pretty good day

Yeh, great first!!! my first was about 2.5 cleaned. i was over the moon. 2nd was 10kg....lol
The speckled fin cod......commonly known as a "boot". Aptly named because of its eating qualities. Has the consistency of a leather boot.
