    Mid week off Cairns

Headed out mid-week off Cairns and found very little current for build up to the full moon. Found the fish very quiet but managed 10 keepers of better than average size. Sea glassed out and ended up with some great fillets,

Thanks guys. Can confirm they tasted great. Started with the job fish which are very underrated. Found the trick during the week with no current was to fish very, very light and float the pilchards or fillet down the face of the bommie. Most of the larger fish came out and took the bait well off the bottom in quite shallow water.
