Smart move Jase heading wide to the clean water . The northerlies have almost shut down the inshore mack scene here for the time being . Also the big king tides seem to have sucked some dirty water out of the estuary drains making it worse . There was a stretch of dirty water from Flat rock to Currunbin rock yesterday with no rain lately - go figure .

    Hagar,

The Northerlies always dirty the water up and kill the temp... it's all to do with the warm clean currents out wide not getting pushed in.. Hence a few days southerly will clean and warm the water up Can you remember the last southerly we had

    cheers

    Nice dollie.

thx for clearing up the northerly issue spaniard. Id been wondering why the warm waters came on in the southerly. It even gets warmer water into the estuaries.

Id been expecting Nth = hot winds, so should= hot water, but not so.

    cheers

Nice dollie and a good way to start off the year . I was pulling skirts on the 36s today but after an 45 minutes and a spew (alcohol induced) I called it a day and headed for the family breakfast. Only action was one reel had a turn 5 minutes into it but it didn't stick . At least the pre dawn spotties gave me some blood.
    Cheers, Jay

The water on the 36es was up around 27 degrees and blue much more enjoyable than sitting on the green stuff
Nice spottie Jay i will have to have a crack at em soon.
