Hey Zeeke, sounds like you were visited by some friends in brown coats...a story to be told?????

Great catch lads...love the mixed bag...quality fish there...we could only manage snapper yesterday and went looking for other species when we bagged...It horrible to call snapper vermin...hehehe

    cheers

BTW Indy...if you check the photos you'll see the Glasshouse Mtns through the clouds in the background the appropriate distance off shore...people may not give GPS marks but areas are fine...why question the cred of good members sharing their great catch?

    Well done again lads

    Re: Murphies magic mile

hey guys, it would be nice if reds were an everyday catch, at 70cm thats the best red ive caught at that spot, unless you make the marathon effort to reefmasters fabelled grounds you wont see to many big ones, for some reason they do seem to prefer the close grounds in this area.

all fish were caught on the same rig jas, an 8 ball on the hook.

for all those confused on the landmarks ive abbreviated them, hope that helps.

That's a interesting lens Tim is using it makes you look alot futher offshore than you actually are at murphies
Alcohol doesn't agree with me, but i sure do enjoy the argument!!!

yeh its a portrait lens ian, it makes a nice clear imagine of the first thing it sees, insert lack of camera knowledge here lol, the pic of the red is a good example.
