All up used 157 litres for 125 klms...not too bad...
Not too good either. 225 4 strokes return at worst a km/l.

G'day Sam, yeah we've been giving it a nudge lately...how'd you go on the weekend?

Hi Reef King...It was strange...we only caught Snapper...biggest 86cm a snodger...well done Birdy..but we all caught good fish...Swano a PB and Mick and I got among it too scoring some solid good fish too. Would've like a mixed bag but I'm not complaining!!!

I must admit Smithy I was pretty dissapointed to get out there and look at the fuel guage to see half the fuel was gone, but it was pretty lumpy and we slogged it out for 2 1/2 hours. Only an hour home and quarter of a tank...Birdy reckons an f200 yam's the way to go...I have to agree that a 4st will certainly pick up the fuel econ..but we've got to recover the biccies in the bank after the build and get a bit of a run out of the black anchor before we turn it over...some things are a compromise hey.

And Jase that's a good photo of Mick just to prove to Shane he's not telling porkie pies Sorry Shane!!!

    Cheers

    Rhys

Nice to know what I missed out on

Keep your eyes on Supercheap Rhys, regarding the blood and guts on the carpet. I picked up el cheapo chinese gurney that does the job admirably. Comes with 12 month guarantee for 59 bucks. At that price it's throwaway or else you take it in for replacement just before the 12 months is up

    Hi revs,
We've just recently bought some huge mats for the boat to keep the guts off the carpet. They got that rough water proof carpet on top and rubber underneath. Seems to grab all the juice. These can just be thown out of the boat and hosed off and left out in the sun. Worth there weight in gold. Good to hear you did well. It's a long way out there.

A little Birdy tells me you're planning on Australia Day? Pity as I've already booked for Tangas M&G if the weather's right. We'll meet up soon, Im sure.
