I told you work was overrated!

That is the first time i have driven a twin screw boat to backdown on a fish and I would have to say that is almost better then actually being on the rod. I loved it and had a great time. Can't wait to do it again, maybe tomorrow

    Well done fellas

It looks like there's a few more fish down there at the moment. We went out yesterday with a few other boats from mooloolaba, and only half the boats tagged fish. The bribie tourny was also on, and there was only 9 tags for the day. Everyone caught plenty of bycatch, mainly wahoo and dolphinfish. We saw 2 blacks, one threw the hooks straight up and the other didn't even strike.

2-2-2 on Fair Game Friday. Mahi Mahi and 40kg Black to me both on 8kg. 15-20knots of SE in the morning but buttoned off the 10-12 for the rest of the day. Pulled the pin at 12.00.

About 5-3-1 today on Reel Crazy. One might have been a Black, one definately wasn't and we got a Striped Tuna. We just trolled in the conditions. Fair Game tagged a Black and kept a 17kg Wahoo. Leigh should have the details on that. 5 Star had tagged 3 and dropped a Striped Marlin and Watchdog had tagged 2. Not sure on the rest of the fleet. One other boat had tagged one and we lost contact with Buggy on Ymer. Hope he had some luck. We pulled the pin at 2.30. Weather sucked us in. Pretty calm the first couple of miles out, came up to 20 SE, buttoned off once we got to the grounds then built straight again to 20s with a bit of swell.

Well done Brooksy and crew, good to see the new boat is working and catching them. I hear you might be down on lures though after Chris lost a few, but i also hear that you lost a few too, just make him take his own tackle next time. By the way Brett i'm ready to decki any time only a phone call away.

Re: Ymer Finally Christened In Aus off Gold Coast

    Smithy,

My luck continues. 8-6-0 on Saturday as we fished the boat back from the Goldy to Bribie. One run and one hook-up at Spot X for a drop and a line break on live bait.

Moved north and my favourtie Straddie grounds produced a big thick black before I could even set all the lines. Dad had the pleasure for about 1min as this fish went animal and eventually busted the main line. Continued in the same area for a couple of hours with numerous strikes and hook-ups but continued to lose fish at the boat through pulled hooks or broken line. One was a very very big Wahoo the others were unsighted. Some fish were 10-15 mins to get close to the boat only to magically drop the hooks somehow. I'm having the worst run of luck the world's ever seen.

Can't believe the bite that happened at spot X just after we left. But then again that's exactly how my luck is holding at the moment. Lucky I'm not superstitious

Well I never thought I would have to waste my first my first post on defending my honour but I guess..................when the first stone is thrown......

    Dave: get F@#KED !!!!!!!!!!!

    Sandman:get F@#KED !!!!!!!!!!

Now I wish there was one of those little smiley men who moons people!!

Buggy: Even just for laughing at was these pussy wrote! get F@#ked!

Now that I have cleared all that up I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Chris and I used to have a couple of mates on this site but after great consideration......

All jokes aside Hi and I really did want to post a report of all the big fish I catch on your boats but I guess the next one hey!!!

Can't wait for the replies on that!
