Did you actually get a shot on the rods at all - sounded quite for most guys.

Spoke to Lee on the radio but he didn't mention anything about this deckies When I was still talking to him - the lost black was still fresh in his mind.

Sounds like the guys cleaned up though getting lots of prizes so congratulations - it had to come.

I think Sunshine Coast tournaments are the way to go - way more prizes on offer for those who don't catch anything - like us

bugman, apart from the few wahoo chop offs early friday am we didnt see another fish apart from the blue all weekend.

cant wait for next weekend now there is a few heavy tackle fish around!!

including a nice one weighed at the billfish bonanza lake macquarie

it went 266kgs caught on "calypso"

big animal.

another one possibly bigger was lost by "black pete" after 5mins

Great report Jeff. I'm sorry I couldn't fish it this year but will definitely do so in '07. I now know what I missed out on (on Serial Fisher) Sounds like a good time had by all.

Good report Jeff, Have to agree it was a great weekend. (We fished the little 5.2m kevlacat). Just a shame a few more fish were not tagged.
