Hit the water at 5.00am this morning.
Had a troll around and picked up my first spanish mac for the season and a new PB
A tad under 14kg gutted

Very nice - you'd have to be happy with that. You'll be eating spanish for weeks from a fish that size.

Top effort and obviously back by morning and report ready to go on Ausfish for lunch!
It looks like they're finally in! Score him on hard bodies or skirts mate??
We bagged out on good size spotties to 8 kg yesterday out form the Goldie, were going to then target the Spaniards, but didn't have the esky space!! Instead decided to go wide for a Marlin but only stsipred tuna galore.

Were you at palmy? Also what was the water temp where you were, seems pretty cold in close.

It was caught on a trolled Halco Lazer Pro speed was about 8-9knots
This one lure has about 6 of these guys to it's credits. Blue Pillie colour also
I was caught in about 40 ft of water trolled behind the bait schools current sitting off the Goldy

Nice one Jas, you forgot to tell everyone the water temp at palmy is about 26.3
