Does anyone still go to Tempest?

Has anyone been to the Tempest area lately or is it just the Banks and Wide Cal. this itme of year? Haven't seen any reports at all recently. Not even shallow tempest!

this is a good thing with sooooo mant people targeting this area all the time it will be good for a break. personally fishing 4
+ knots of current in 100+ meters of water, with mono nah thanks rather catch fish thanks.

Haven't been up that way for years now. The thought of winding up and down in 90 metres of water all day to maybe scratch out a feed really doesn't do it for me any more. Anyway, I am not 25 years old any more and I'm just not that keen.

Come on Nick as Lone_Wolf says they are huge. If you have any shallower GPS marks for Knobbies let me know. I don't know whats worse, driving 30NM or winding the reel off.
Either way its hard to get be sure of a feed this time of year.

Short answer is no.

But around new moon in July/August/September there is normally no current and good fish. Go the six ball!
