well, what a week it was. i arrived up at 1770 on the saturday
morning to find the wind blowing. got out the bar but thats about
as far as we could go for the conditions. small long tails and mack
tuna everywhere. spent the early arvo with some lucky phill slugs
catching some bait. satyed with roz untill our house was ready and
once again thanks for the hospitality [smiley=dankk2.gif]
met troy, herby, phill,andy and brian at roz's and a top night was had by
all. pete and john also arrived sunday arvo. the week started a litlle bumpy with a few car hick-ups but its all sorted now........... with the wind kicking the seas up we mucked around in
the creeks and had a great time. tuesday saw the team heading to awonga
for a crack at the barra and a few members scored a couple.
the week went on with plenty of fishing tales talked out over plenty
of ales as the wind kept up. thursday morning we crossed the bar and ploughed
out to a couple marks in some ugly conditions and we scored a few fish.
plenty of lippa about at the moment and some trout and reds thrown in
for extra value. well, was a great week had by all and i cant wait till the next one
anybody who is thinking of going to the october meet and greet should
book a house and get cracking as it is a great week with some even better people.
