Re: Color of water @ Hutchies, Trench, E of the Ca
Trevor,
Seems it should be clear past Comboyuro but I'd say it was a little stirred up still in the bay. (Wed 29th)
mark,
The next channel North is called Inner Freeman Channel.
When travelling South to North. Go to S.27.03.000. E.153.21.150 and travel North east to S.27.01.000 E.153.22.600.
When you get to the first mark you should be able to see a clear passage through the channel.
I used to use this channel all the time with the 5.2 m Rumrunner I had and it does not look to be there when travelling from Bribie direction but as you get to the mark the channel should become clear. Feels a bit awesome when there are big breaking waves either side.
If that looks too bad then continue up, keeping bribie side of the next 4 x red markers and then it should be a clear run to Hutchies.
Have a Safe trip

Trevor 2, went through Comby yesterday 30th about 3.30p.m. on way to Hutchies, keeping close to the island there is a good run through. The water all the way to Hutchies is crystal clear. Came back through Combie in the dark with the incoming tide, a bit hairy when you can't see, but wasn't too bad.
