Birthday bash

Got an invitation to celebrate birthday boy ‘Damo’ at offshore fishing sounds exciting event.
This morning as so perfect weather & condition on right time for birthday bash, went to Hutchinson. Stop at beacons for lives collecting, shortly Mac tuna were busy around beacons. We decided to cast slug for thrill, I claimed my first Mac tuna.
Trolled toward to Hutch we had hope Spanish or Wahoo give a hit for special gift to birthday boy but they are not moody for today and saw many boat trolling (perhaps you ere there) and didn’t see or know if they got any luck. But we got few strikes on trolling lure to an intruder Mac tuna and they are so thick and every where.
Stop and live bait at hutch & I got few strike and snapped lines
The best present has arrived Damo got his rod bent & O/H reel screamed and few minutes battle gaffed his PB snapper. We managed to celebrate & enjoy in few showers.

What a great day to be on the water Dave! Didn't get the Hoo we wanted but that's fishing Lost a couple of unstoppables which you failed to mention. Going out tomorrow to try and catch that Hoo or maybe one of the unstoppables.
