    monday "MADNESS"

    ANOTHRE SOLOtrip from bribie ..
    but i did organised a crew but looked at the weather and canceled at 6 pm after watching the broncos lose.. "the one who must be obeyed" got cranky wanting to know what i was doing ..???


    walked out in the yard at 9.30 pm and YES no wind .. so i decided to get the boat out and go but to late to ring crew ..

    arrived at the ramp as usual LATE.. slept in again .

    a little bit of wind so i was thinking about driving home again but the throught of "the one who must be obeyed" at home .. decided to motor out and have a look

    bloody glade i did as this was the conditions half way across the bay [pic 1]


    troll a cd 18 passed the cape and i got hit from this little fellow [i think its a green job fish] [pic2]

    well another 5 snappa to shOW ...
    total of 6 fish for 22kgs ....

    Do you go past Comboyuro in close or is there another track you take. And secondly, have you found that area to be a bit shallow now.

    depends on the sand spit wether the waves are breaking or not
    generally i pass combi approx 500 mts from shore ...

    always a bit rough through there but normally take it easy specially in the dark

    I will have to go there during daylight hours to investigate it more as last Saturday I come back through inner Freeman Channel at about 8.00 pm and it was hair raising to find yourself registering 6 foot under the boat and having peaking waves probably 8 and 9 foot standing up in front of you

    the deckie is disappointed top fish pete
    pete you can ring me up until midnight that's when the better half finishes reading/tv
    read your pm at 3am yesterday
    didn't want to ring at that time thought your family might object
    finished up spending a few hours in the bay for a few squire& mac tuna
    fantastic day weather wise
    saw a friend back at raby bay ramp his starter motor packed it in out at the 35s
    he got towed back by vmr raby bay geez they do a great job
