The 3 musketeers hit the northern banks

Ventured out to the northern banks at around 1am with Matto and his mate. Drifted over a 54-60m ledge picking up some nice snappery squire, good size pearlies and a nice 7kg spangley. Also picked up a 9kg cobia which I handlined into the boat using someone elses braid who had been busted off not so long ago. So if you were using 50-100lb yellow (platinum millenium or other brand) braid and got smoked well your fish is now in my esky and you braid is in the wheelie bin

was a good night, could have bagged out on snapper but threw smaller snapper back hoping to get a bag of larger specimens. Thems the breaks

hey hainsey mat here we didnt get bugger all at the 80m line but there were plenty of cobes in a bit closer but they werent too keen for a bait

interesting to know that the cobe I got was roed up which I would assume that they have started to spawn. Maybe those secret cobia spots will start to fire up soon!
