Tempest on Saturday

What another great weekend day for fishin! Went to tempest as did many others and after reading posts from Tezza and Ray would have to agree fishing was slow till midday with squire, pearlies trag jew and one dollie after seven hours. Decided to venture north looking for pearlies after 1.00pm and found a good patch of quality pearlies and pig fish with rods bent solid for a good hour and half with only the bigger fish kept for a now healthy looking esky. Headed home 3.00pm back to bribie top run home 25knots and happy crew. Thanks Dave and Sean

Deep Tempest is fishing grounds approx. 6 nautical miles due East of Moreton Island in line with Mount Tempest. Very popular fishing area in 80-90 metres of water.

sounds like a good day out mate any pic's of the catch? see what size tempest is bring now

Gidday fellas, just invested in a digital camera and tried the test pics so should be able to post pics in future.
Spiro, fishing tempest was hard work with only one quality 4kg snapper amongst the squire but the pearlies were around 45cm and bigger ones amongst them. Wish we had livies.

saturday, fished wide of the cape for bag limit on pearlies, all caught in 1 & half hours to 4 kg. arrived at 5.45am left at 7.15am approx. 3 on board micks cruisecraft. a good day had by all. cheers, kevy.
