after the reports of the spotties around the Curran Cove area we headed out saturday mornin in the brother in laws boat. trolled from the seaway up there with no luck but saw heaps of boats zipping past so we knew we were at least heading in the right direction
anchored up in about 15 mts of water got a good burlie trail going and floated down some pillies....worked like a charm with in no time we both hooked up sometimes 3 rods going off at once. We were using a single 6.0 hook on a wire trace..... we dropped more than we landed as they were spitting the hook but we eventually bagged out
Headed back about midday was a bit sloppy by then but all in all had a great day
