I headed out with Johno this morning to explore some new areas up around the hards. The conditions were unbelievable with totally calm conditions most of the day. It only picked up to about 10 knots for a couple of hours and then dropped back to zero again. I love days off work
We found plenty of variety, catching snapper, pearlies, trag, maori cod, glod spot wrasse, parrot, hussar, and even a flatheadBecause we were exploring, we put the lures out for about an hour, while we marked new spots, but only managed a couple of tuna.
Here are some pictues of form the day.
