    First Snapper at the banks 20/05/06

    was out at the banks today finally got my first snapper, 70cm but very skinny at 3.5kg, conditions weren;t that great on the way back in slow bumpy ride, few other odds and ends including a 50cm squire and a solid tusky 2+kg
    Bring on the Marlin!!!

    Good work there philip.
    We were going to go out there last night but with the weather reports we gave it a miss.

    Thanks guys (except chris) always one who you can't please . pete i didn't burley, felt a little crook at times though once the conditions turned to crap.

    Nice haul Phil. It was good to meet you at the ramp, pity those radios didn't work. We got into a few good fish on sun up a bit further south of you guys. the old man's Snapper went 73cm's with a few others caught up to 65cm's.

    Was good to meet up with you at the ramp Sidewayz have to organise another trip one day, Big Ren the intention is to become a banks regular over winter, next weekend 2ic from work and i are heading out there on my boats first voyage 2 banks virgins 1 has never been offshore ever, should be interesting
