Headed out to Temptest around 6am, first bait in around 730am. Small snapper released on first drop, many more after this.
Moved location and same result. Decided to rig up some trolling gear and have a play around, sounded out a ledge in 60m of water holding fish as we trolled around.
First run a solid Mac Tuna, 2nd run same again, 3rd run lost something we couldn't stop, 4th run more macs, 5th run lost 300 metres of line and nearly the backing before somehting spat the lure.
Same spot produce double hook-ups on big mac tuna.
Did some more baiti fishing after lunch but no joy. Headed home as the wind started to come up.
No dinner but a great way to spend a Thursday!

Shame the bigger ones didn't stick.
