We left home at 2.30pm in the hope to get to the ramp before every one else but to no avail. Should have known better with the excellent conditions predicted. Our destination was wide Caloundra of which we were meeting my brother Indy there to hopefully get amoungst the Snapper. On board I had one usual suspect Glenn and 2 new timers with one guy being my client of which I have been promosing to take him out for a year. We arrived at the spot by 4.30 with first lines down pulling 2 snapper straight up which is unusual for this spot as the don't seem to bite until first light. After about 5 or 6 more they went of the bite so a move was in order. With the excellent conditions we decided to do a few drift and bagged a couple more but thungs were still slow. Pete in the other boat gave me the call to visit him so off we went to see what was going on and to our delight they were in to much better quality snapper and more of them so we anchored up and away we went one after the other till the bag limit was reached. All in all not to bad a day with one very happy client.
