    Re: Mono's got CRABS!

    Hi Guys,
No this big muddie wasnt caught at Brunswick, luckily, wouldnt be safe to swim in the creek
It was caught last week from an estuary in Thirsty Sound-Stanage Bay. (About 190km NE of Rockhampton, QLD.
It wasnt cooked to eat, but ended up at a taxidermest in Rocky.

It would be good to watch Webby try and superglue a hook on its back! Knowing webby but, he could probably find a fish willing to take it too!

    Cheers

hey mono did you travel right up north of the sound for that one....most of the locals had to do a fair bit of travelling to get their crabs last time we were up there but i took our lil boat to crab creek (check your charts its very local to the ramp) and we cleaned up lol...despite the cries from the locals that theres no crabs in crab creek

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

we are looking at going to Hexham and starting explorations from there. We are Blind as bats as far as fishing spots go.
