Hi,
Caught this big fella off Bundy a few trips ago, I got 2 of these big fellas in a row. Arms were a little tired afterwards.
We got 4 of these in one spot while fishing for coral trout. The biggest we estimated to weigh around 12-13kg.

Forgot to metnion that all the big cod we caught that day were released to harass the poor little fishies down below! Great fun catching and releasing

A tip for catch and release - use a big net as gaffing them and stretching their gills like that will probably kill them anway even if they do swim off at first, or just take a pic of them in the water and cut them free.
I know you are making an effort to realease them so well done.
