Hi I alway want to go to reef but didnt have chance to find where as I don't have GPS and 4.44 stacer. Could you tell me where is curtain artificial reef
Up and early this morning to have the boat in the water at bribie 5.. I went out in a mates boat which is a 4.5mtr quintrex and meet up with my 5.2mtr half cabin a little later.. We had some marks to try so off we went on our way to hutchies reef.. Well to cut a long story short we didnt meet the other boat so we didnt have enough fuel for the trip to the hutchies and back so we instead tried curtain artificial reef after jigging a few livies.. #We fished there for a few hours catching some small reefies, a very large turtle, a juvenile red emperor which is a first for me and lastly a goldspot cod around 50cm.. There were heaps of tuna in the bay but we didnt have enough fuel to chase them.. Still a fun day on the water and were keen to return.. I'll try put up a pic of the small red its very pretty just gotta work out how to resize it.. #Sean

Somewhere around here....near the other boats....7.5 km north of the Resort.

You cant miss it. there is always boats there and the are two big white markers on the beach that mark the southern and northern ends of the reef. Some big fish there and if you get a big one away from the wrecks, consider yourself lucky.
Foggy
you need to carry more fuel mate chasing them tuna can be fun
any idea of the size and type of tuna?...cheers
