I figured a run out tide and north easter would make for a rough return trip around Combyuro so decided to stick to north west rocks untill the wind came up then head back to the ramp.
Things were slow and the weather excellent so we made the decision to head out to the Cape.
Drifted around the close to the Cape in perfect conditions untill around 2 pm. Wound up with a couple of good size snapper on board and also had several reel screaming hookups. We could see cobia hanging down off the rear of the boat but they wouldnt take a bait. We finally boated a couple of 3ft yellow tail kingies on pilchard floaters.
Yep it was a bit rough coming back but what an incredible day out.
