    WOW what a day

With the wind blowing for the last few weeks yesterday looked the goods.Wehit the s/passage bar on daybreak, bar was flat steamed out at 4500rpm,this is great and was hopingthe current wasnt to strong.Wegot out into100mtsdrop line and smack nice snapperand wouldnt u believe it NO CURRENTwhat more could u ask for.we had a good burst of fish about 9am then things tappered offso we decided to have a rest as only a few fish came inevery now and themBy about a 15-20 e/s/e camt in made things a bit rough. At about 4pm we had a frenzy of snapper coming in and on dusk we pulled the plug rounded the cape as there was a swell building.Trip across the bay from comby to manly was crappy with a 15knot s/e .i took josh fisher4life out with me we had a ball

    Nice catch mate.

Good weather and no current, not often those 2 go together at the same time.

Glad you got out Pete...and got among some very nice fish by the look of it. That should replenish the supplies and keep the cook happy for a bit

    Cheers
