    Hey Ty,

Looks like you guys did exceptionally well. You got some nice reds there and some great lippers. The flesh on those will be sweet as. The weather looks the goods too.

Good read mate. It’s quenching my thirst for a trip out wide.

    Regards,
    Craig.

    Great fish boys...

If you don't mind me asking... How bigs the boat and how much fuel did you go through...

    Great work once again!

The boats a 7m coastal cat with 2x140hp suzuki 4strokes. We used about 280l of fuel under a fairly light load, however most of the miles was done at 10knts (which is an uneconomical speed for us).The engines use about 15l each at 4000revs but this goes to 20-22l once heavily loaded at these revs.

There's an old saying that I quite like and it definitely applies here: "Never be afraid to hang out on a limb, because that's where all the fruit is".

Loved the report Ty, that's the epitomy of a dream offshore trip....couple of nights away in good company, reasonable conditions (mostly) and plenty of first class fish from new country you've sounded yourself. Does it get any better than that?

    Top stuff Ty.

Loved the dark lips on the red in one of those earlier shots. He must have been an old bugger.
