    Cracker, thanks for the update and hard luck on the Billy. I didn't make it to the water on the weekend but by all accounts it was an absolute ripper!! Weather pending I'll be out there this sunday to give-em a go.

    Are you getting your Slimies in the deeper stuff or 12F mark??

    we got that slimey on the 24 fathom line, but as long as the southerlys blow a little, it'll blow the warmer cleaner water in closer so it would be no dramas getting them in closer

    There are some marlin being caught between the 18 and 24 fathom reefs East and South of the Seaway. #Lure caught fish are preferring smaller lures on lighter 100lb leaders. You don't have to go far for a marlin on the Gold Coast.

    Use your sounder to find the bait and then stick with it until the bite occurs or over the high tide changeover.
