The Albermarle Hervey Bay Game Fishing Classic

Just got back from fishing this tournament. Well done to brooksey, smithy, bugman, and opimax for taking out the 7.5m and over class on Ymer and for taking out champion angler, also well done to the boys on nag free for taking out the 7.5m and under class. I fished aboard "KJ" the 9m plate boat operating as hervey bay fishing charters. Was a great weekend shame about the weather we managed to get the first black for the tournament. The only one for us for the weekend. Also managed to get a few tuna. We decided to head over the bar on saturday with a strong SE blowing 20-25. We didnt stay outside long as it was a bit uncomfortable. So we fished the rooneys point area all weekend. The boys that went outside did well. Congrats to all that did well.

There is a whisper of a 9-10 kg red caught yesterday by the bugman on the way back.

Congrats to the boys on a good trip. The curse maybe lifting!!
