The ground they came off
Left Noosa 10am Monday 20/11 for the Hards. Reasonable trip out, lots of fish on sounder, not real keen to bite. Ended up with a few. Wind died out at 6pm for a good trip home. Back at Noosa at 8.30pm. My best snapper

Well done nice Red
Looks great to see them rise up and you realise- its a good snapper... Respect
Nice snapper mate how much did it weigh
Indy, it weighed 8.5kg and is my best so far. Took off real hard and went straight to the bottom and just sat there. I called it for a shark as it just sat on the bootom for at least 10 minutes. Tightened the drag a bit more to try and put some hurt on it when it just came up a bit and and once it was up about 5m it just gave up and was an easy reel in. Was very surprised to see red at the top.

cheers dave
that is a nice looking snapper
mmmmmmmmmm nice feed nice catch mate
cheers davo
Madman, mate the current was very fishable at anchor but with the wind and current going in opposite directions even drifting with a sea anchor was very difficult. If the wind is light the current would not have been an issue for drifting. All our fish were caught at anchor.
Rhys, yes mate have got a few marks up there now but I dont know which part of the Hard we fish really as I dont know where it actually starts or how far it goes but we are a fair bit North of the marks you gave me for the top end of the banks. We are fishing pinnicles that rise from 70m up to the top at about 63m and there is alot of wire weed on and around them. Once we get to 70m we cannot even lose a bait.
