Darwin, land based...I need help!!

Hi all,

Due to a last minute work conference I'll probably be in Darwin from the 13th to 17th of August.

I've never been up there before and was going to throw a rod or two in to take.

I won't have heaps of free time (mostly at night) and was hoping some of you would be able to give me some info on:

1) What gear to take (I'm flying so not heaps of gear space)?

2) Where to fish land based?


I've only got a week or so to prepare so please help

Never been there myself, but I have a mate up there who is the CEO of AFANT (Amateur Fishos Association).
