A mate of mine who went on a trip to Fraser Island took this picture & showed it too me today.
The picture was taken between the 4/9/2002 & 5/9/2002 at Waddy Point.

It shows pros who have just finished packing up. You can see 2 finned & beheaded sharks in the forground. These sharks were dumped on top of the boat & taken a km or so up the beach & buried in the sand. The fish were gutted of their young aswell, with some of the young taken by the pros & the rest left on the beach. A few of the recs tried to revive the young but to no avail.

THIS IS OUTRAGES

They are so brasen, that they did it in front of litterally hundreds of rec fisherman, that is after they netted the very gutter that the rec fishos were fishing. They also got a school of frigat mackerel as well close in, they were hauled onto the beach & left there for at least 3 hours before being packed on ice.

This sort of thing is disgusting.

A few people who dared front them were threatened with ice shovels.

The picture has been altered for posting on the net, however a copy of the photo is in the process of being sent to QLD DPI Fisheries for investigation, the original shows faces & also the rego of the vehicle.

This sort of thing STINKS
