Lake Samsonvale gets a boat ramp

I believe BORAL shall be building a boat ramp for permit holders at lake Samsonvale this weekend from the 20th through till early the next week. Boaters will not be able to put their boats on the water during this time, but it shall allow all those with permits to easily put their boats in and out of the water from then on. It will be a boulder and compacted gravel ramp so traction shouldn't ever be a problem making launching etc. a breeze to catch the fish their permits are putting into the dam.

Boral are really doing their utmost to help out the stocking group over there. The working relationship between Boral & PRFMA is only going to mean a better lot for permit holders lanuching from Boral Landing & the other anglers fishing from the bank at other areas around the lake.

Simon, I believe there should be some Mary River cod being released into Samsonvale this week.
Somerset & Wivenhoe are getting some on Friday.
