Boat ramp near the Pin.
I'm looking at going down to the Pin for an overnighter. Can any one suggest a boat ramp that has a resonable level of safety to leave the car and trailer at?
Also is there any limitation on where you can pull up and camp on the islands down there?
Cheers, MON.

Re: Boat ramp near the Pin.
i just use the cabbage tree car park and boat ramp .. and when camping i camp in canaipa passage which is just around the corner of the pin and there is a spot right near the pin where i have seen people camping so i dont think there is many restrictions.

Mon try Rudy Mass...just down the road from Cabbage tree........have never had a problem with car jackers, vandals call them what you like......They do charge a fee of i think around $7 but hey at least you can come back to the ramp and your car and trailer are still there!!!!!!.
Crusoe Island is a top spot to camp overnight.......can't get much closer to the pin.
Cheers Brent

I can also recommend RudyMass. I think it is the "best value" (cheapest) and security is good
