Two Mid North Coast men will be prosecuted in court after being found with four unmarked crab traps on the Hastings River, the Director-General of NSW Fisheries, Steve Dunn, said today.

    Welcome to the 'iron curtain'

They will probably be shot at dawn

Or if their RFL 'papers' were in order ,shot at sunrise 8)

Probably 2 decent blokes who do the right thing and throw back under size stuff but got lazy and didnt mark their pots and the,ll get the book thrown at them. They,d be better catching the bastards who actually take the under sized ones.

I don't care if they were the devils disciples.....

IF ,and only IF ,they w-e-re-n'-t in possession of excess baglimit , they aren't criminals , IF they 'magically' identified themselves as the 'owners'......
or why not simply say 'not mine' ???

p.s. what's a good 'rig' to catch abolone (sp?)

Grunta, that's why it's the 'iron curtain'.

and a little 'issue' regards QFS 'interpretation' , by keeping legal jennies (from NSW waters),and transporting back home(Q'ld) to cook........and this makes Qld'ers criminal??
    No wayyy >

i.e. side issue ,Qld'ers aren't criminals EITHER to have kept Jennies, caught in NSW

p.s. not me ,or anybody i know ,but an 'issue' nevertheless

they can't, it's the same thing that happens when they can't catch a murderer or a thief. but so damn efficent in booking you for not wearing a safety belt or when you're 7km/p over the speed limit.
