Can anyone help solve a discussion about the proper way to measure fish. Are they measured from the head to the tail or the head to the V of the tail. Maybe I've missed something.

Head to tail Streaker - that forms the requirement for legal size.
It's the big C&R fellas, mostly fresh that record a lot of measurements at fork length. I think it's a bragging rights thing.
