    Can anyone help solve a discussion about the proper way to measure fish. Are they measured from the head to the tail or the head to the V of the tail. Maybe I've missed something.

    Head to tail Streaker - that forms the requirement for legal size.

    It's the big C&R fellas, mostly fresh that record a lot of measurements at fork length. I think it's a bragging rights thing.

    thx bugman,actually thought you were wrong,but just checked out Qld Gov DPI site...link as follows,,yep! you are correct..now i'm thinking about all those fish i've thrown back over the years ...damn! would have been enough to feed...well...atleast me for a nite or 2 >
