    You would think it could only have an effect on a saltwater fish that lives in a particular hole on a reef (or say a jack that lives in a hole in a rockwall) or on freshwater fish in a dam (no tidal effect of course) that lives beside a particular rock or snag and is used to a constant water pressure.

    Well, after about a 2 hour google, about 30 articles and 60 offers to buy a bloody barometer, it appears that you can find an example of any opinion you chose to take, regarding the effect of atmospheric pressure. Here's what seemed to me the pick of the crop for anyone interested.
