I can't wait. Has been my focus for getting out of bed every day to go to work to earn the extra dollars to have the time off.

Where r u guys launching from? I would be keen to catch up on or off the water with any other Ausfish members.

Hey guys,
We'll be up there with 2 boats (plan at the moment), will be focussing around the 12's, nautalis and jenny area - went the shoals last year with every man and his dog and didn't do too well - nice table fish but nothing decent part from trevas. True to that about the temp in the mornings blade runner - starting to struggle .
Anyway hope the weather holds up for us, may the fishing be fruitful fro you all!

Great to here your another avad fisher person on your way up for this comp, It gets harder each year to find a spot to your self when this fishing is on at the reef.
I was on 12 mile the other day found the razer gang had moved in and kept all the quality fish down caught lots of parrot though.
Have you tried Tullerock big Grasses there. I Will be around some where if you won't to catch us . [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Can't say i've heard of tullerock - any clues? We tend to get more razors around jenny - doing barrel rolls out of the water the last lot were, good fun but not much chance on 10kg sweetlip gear... Haven't had much luck on the 12's of late either, need to have a sound around and get some better marks - bit late now though, only a week to go!
Will hopefully be out on the weekend providing i get my bait board back and the weather isn't too bad...

You might know it as Torrook somthing like that south of rock cod shoals not by much.

Bladerunner, Bait board has gone rotten so getting an ally one.
Went out friday though and was and absolutely gorgeous day could've skiied home from 12 mile. Got some nice fish too - my first red wasn't a bad one either . You say there must be a bit of tidal movement to fish the 12's, hadn't thought of that - still keen to know where this torrock is, the name rings a bell but can't place it. If you could help us out with a spot or two i'd be greatly appreciated - i owe you one.
Saw jethro at the ramp went we were coming in and saw streaker i think at CQP as we were driving past, didn't say g'day as i wasn't sure who's who? Hope you had a decent go on the weekend.
